Though my parents initially led me to attend ACT tutoring once a week over the summer before my senior year, I quickly became enthralled with the progress I was making with the hour and a half long sessions. The amount you have to spend to get these lessons are well worth it because of the other college opportunities and scholarships that come with a higher ACT score. While you have to pay for the first lessons, all of the practice test sittings at the Testing Solutions office are completely free. Before taking her latest test, my daughter took 3 practice tests during the 3 Saturdays leading up to the ACT. The practice tests helped her solidify the strategies that Jesse had been teaching her.
